Middle School Math and Science Teacher

Michiana Christian Academy – South Bend, IN

Michiana Christian Academy (MCA) is seeking a passionate and mission-minded Middle School Math and Science Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position will serve students in grades 6–8, providing instruction rooted in a Biblical worldview and aligned with Indiana State Standards.

At MCA, our mission is to empower students and their families to boldly serve Jesus Christ by building an excellent academic foundation established on the truth of God’s Word. We are looking for a teacher who will both educate and disciple students—fostering a love for Jesus, a thirst for righteousness, and a pursuit of their God-given purpose.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging math and science instruction for grades 6–8, aligned with Indiana State Standards.

  • Integrate Biblical truth into all aspects of teaching and model Christ-like character daily.

  • Create a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment that supports academic and spiritual growth.

  • Use assessment data to monitor student progress and guide instructional decisions.

  • Build meaningful relationships with students and their families rooted in the love of Christ.

  • Collaborate with staff to uphold the mission and culture of the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required; valid teaching license required (Indiana license preferred).

  • A strong Christian faith and a commitment to the ministry of Christian education.

  • Demonstrated ability to teach and engage middle school students effectively.

  • Familiarity with Indiana State Standards for math and science education.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
