4th/5th Grade Classroom Teacher
Michiana Christian Academy – South Bend, IN
Michiana Christian Academy (MCA) is seeking a passionate and mission-minded 4th/5th Grade Classroom Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position will serve upper elementary students, providing instruction across core subjects within a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Teaching will be grounded in a Biblical worldview and aligned with Indiana State Standards.

We are looking for a teacher who will both educate and disciple students—fostering a love for Jesus, a thirst for righteousness, and a pursuit of their God-given purpose.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in core subject areas (language arts, math, science, and social studies) for 4th and 5th grade students.
Integrate Biblical truth throughout the curriculum and model Christ-like character daily.
Create a safe, structured, and loving classroom environment that supports academic, social, and spiritual growth.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and use assessments to guide planning and instruction.
Build strong, Christ-centered relationships with students and their families.
Collaborate with fellow staff and leadership to support the school’s mission and promote a unified, Gospel-driven school culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field required; valid teaching license required (Indiana license preferred).
A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to the ministry of Christian education.
Experience working with upper elementary students and a passion for this developmental stage.
Familiarity with Indiana State Standards for elementary education.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
